Our Approach
At Go-Ahead, we believe that corporate responsibility is integral to the success of our business. These responsibilities include playing a full part in the communities we serve, responding to the issues our stakeholders care about and operating in an environmentally responsible manner.
We have identified our responsibility priorities through a structured programme of consultation with our many stakeholder groups, including passengers, employees and representative bodies amongst others. Addressing these issues ensures that our business provides high-quality services in an environmentally responsible way, encouraging more people onto public transport.
Lord Adonis, Secretary of State for Transport, and Keith Ludeman, Group Chief Executive Go-Ahead, launch Go-Ahead’s ninth Corporate Responsibility Report. Transport Secretary Andrew Adonis said: "The Government's carbon reduction strategy has set a tough target of reducing carbon emissions from domestic transport by up to 14 per cent over the next decade. I want to see the public transport system playing a key role in helping reduce emissions and protect the environment."
